-- T Cornell Green didn't finish the game with a knee strain, with Mario Henderson taking his place at right tackle.

-- C Jake Grove (calf) is expected back when the Raiders resume practice Monday and should start against New England.

-- WR Ashley Lelie missed the Chargers game because of the aftereffects of a concussion the previous week but should return to face New England.

-- LB Ricky Brown is expected to miss at least one more game with a groin strain.

-- S Hiram Eugene has a hamstring strain that is not believed to be serious.

REPORT CARD VS. CHARGERS

PASSING OFFENSE: F - An abomination with three turnovers and only 129 yards passing on 17 completions by JaMarcus Russell and Andrew Walter. Zach Miller caught eight passes for 64 yards, but wideouts Ronald Curry and Johnnie Lee Higgins combined for four receptions and 24 yards. Russell lost a fumble on the Raiders' first possession when hit by Shaun Phillips, the Chargers converted it to seven points, and the rout was on.

RUSHING OFFENSE: F - RB Justin Fargas had 50 yards on 12 carries, but the Raiders were forced to abandon the run fairly early because they fell behind so quickly and decisively. Rookie running back Darren McFadden got exactly one carry -- it came on a lateral on Oakland's first possession -- and wasn't involved in the running game again. One rushing first down and no gain longer than eight yards.

PASS DEFENSE: D-minus - Yardage came in huge chunks against what the Raiders consider their defensive strength. Vincent Jackson had five receptions for 148 yards, including a 46-yard catch behind a blown coverage on the first drive and a 59-yard streak past Chris Johnson for a touchdown. Philip Rivers wasn't sacked, but his timing was disrupted on occasion as he completed just 10 of 22 passes. Problem was, those completions went for 214 yards and all of them were for first downs.

RUSH DEFENSE: C-plus - The Raiders gave up just 3.4 yards per carry, with LaDainian Tomlinson getting 91 yards on 25 attempts. He had no gain longer than nine yards. With a big lead, the Chargers didn't bother with creativity, worked on killing the clock and finished with 46 rushing plays for 158 yards. For the most part, the Raiders held up well.

SPECIAL TEAMS: B-plus - Justin Miller's 92-yard kickoff return going into the half accounted for the Raiders' only points. He also had a 36-yard return, also on a middle return, but got nowhere when he attempted to bounce outside. Shane Lechler had a 43.4 net punting average and put three punts inside the 20-yard line. Higgins had just three yards on three punt returns. The Chargers did nothing of note on their returns.

COACHING: D - The secondary seemed confused regarding their assignments against a fairly vanilla San Diego attack. On offense, the way the Raiders use McFadden continues to be a mystery. He had only three touches, and although considered a gifted receiver, came off the field on third-and-long plays -- except when asked to stay in and block. The Raiders looked as ill-prepared for a prime time game as they were against Week 1 in Denver.
