Boschetti was a tackle at UCLA when Cable was offensive coordinator, and is known for expending every bit of energy on every play. Adding him could be a ploy to jump-start Tommy Kelly, Terdell Sands, and to a lesser extent, Gerard Warren, into more intense play down after down, practice after practice.

1. Safety: Near as anyone can tell, it's Hiram Eugene at free safety and Tyvon Branch as the strong safety, with Michael Huff capable of backing up in both places. They've combined for three career interceptions.

2. Offensive tackle: Even with the addition of Khalif Barnes, a probable starter, the Raiders aren't sure if they can depend on Mario Henderson and Cornell Green was never meant to be a fulltime starter.

3. Wide receiver: The Raiders have gone to great lengths to promote the tandem of Johnnie Lee Higgins and Chaz Schilens, but Javon Walker still must prove himself and there is little else on board.

MEDICAL WATCH: WR Javon Walker is training to rehab an ankle which he sprained so severely it had to be pinned, according to coach Tom Cable. Walker's knees are not an issue, the coach said.
